Barbara J. Kirstein
LPL Financial Advisor
Having grown up in the Mid-West, the values I've adopted have kept me grounded.
As women, some of us find ourselves actively involved in financial and healthcare issues that are not always of our own choice. Through my own family and volunteering experiences, I have found that joint efforts in seeking solutions can lessen stress levels that affect all our daily lives.
Before receiving my registrations as a financial representative in 1995, I was an accountant for small business in the 80's and early 90's, both as an employee and as a sole proprietor. Recognizing that family was important, I received my B.S. in Business Administration later in life due to aging parents and kids in college along the way. As a life-long volunteer, I have learned a great deal about listening and communicating with others about their wants verses needs. By raising a family, giving back and working in the business and local community, my background has allowed me to tune into the concerns of my clients.
Life is not always about money, but enjoying life and helping others.
Over the past couple of years, I have realized how important it is to cherish one's good health and not something to be taken for granted.
Do you have your finances in order? The challenge for many is taking a proactive approach, not reactive. The key to risk/reward in business and our personal life is finding a balance and organizing one's finances. In the world of financial advisors, it is all about finding trust and someone that puts your interest before theirs.
